Canvas Drop Cloth Upholsery Project

We're in the process of selling our home so the headboard has taken a backseat to a million and one mini projects. Instead, today I'm going to show you one of my sister's recent projects. Deanna is the ultimate DIYer. No project ever seems to be too big for this girl. Last week she reupholstered an old overstuffed chair.

Instead of spending money on upholstery fabric...

 

De recovered the chair with a Canvas Drop Cloth she bought at Lowe's.

Yep, a painter's drop cloth!!!

 

She said she simply washed and dried canvas before she started the project.

Told ya! She's the ultimate DIYer.
